Great holiday
We had a great time at Duinrell, it was our first holiday here and we absolutely loved the facilities, the duinglow was clean and in good condition. The location was great. We had all the services we needed nearbye. The park was brilliant but we found it to be very inconsistent with the opening amd closing of the park rides. There was no entertainment in the evening and everthing was finished by 4pm accept the tiki pool. It would be improved if the park had stayed open a bit longer.

Enormous number of things to do.
I was staying in one of the higher up luxury lodges and was surprised that there were no made up steps on the sandy slope. It made each trip up and down a real slog. The rides were all great fun but my grandchildren were disappointed that the new car driving circuit was still not opened when your publicity had led us to believe it would be. On the plus side, your staff were very helpful dealing with our altered accommodation requests. Thank you very much for that!

Extremely clean cared for environment
Our grandchildren had a fabulous time here we ran from bumper cars to troll train to splash fountain to the arcade. Rode bikes swam in the tikibad walked the woods went to the beach. Amazing! Only criticism short on staff one rude girl had my grandson in tears at the catapult by refusing him entrance even though he was well in the hight range and had been on several times before. She said he had to be 10 years old no signs for this only height chart!! We also lost a child's wallet which was handed in to a staff member by a German family who found it and contacted us by using the phone number in the wallet. However on repeatedly asking at info and reception it was not found??

Organised from checking in to checking out. Lots of great activities and the rides and water park was great. Accommodation was clean and fun and functional although a few more vibbbags would have been useful

Great park although the accommodation is a bit tired
The theme park and water park are fantastic, my children had a wonderful time. The surrounding towns and areas, especially the beach are wonderful. The budget Duingalow however could do with a bit of modernising and the beds are quite small for adults.

Good but Tiki Bad was dangerous
We enjoyed our week in Duinrell in August 2023. The accomodation was fine despite being the budget range. It was clean, tidy, a little dated, but was acceptable for the price we paid. The outside space was lovely, although some sort of shade, like a parasol, would have made it perfect. The fairground was amazing and my three children had a brilliant time. It too was very clean, well organised and very little queueing. Sadly the Tiki Bad was the area that disappointed us the most. It was far too busy and the lack of supervision on the slides was unacceptable and dangerous. We saw young adults acting very foolishly, such as three people entering the bowl slide at one time, with nothing being done to stop them. Someone could have been seriously hurt. The signs telling people to follow the rules are not enough. Surely the amount of money Duinrell must make should mean they can afford to employ 4/5 more people to be stationed at the top of each group of slides to keep everyone safe, even from themselves. I have said I would recommend this Holiday, but definitely with a beware notice for the Tiki Bad slides.

Really great with lots to do
We had such a lovely time. We stayed in the luxury tents which we absolutely loved. My advice for people a car is good option or to definitely hire bikes (got to see loads) our kids had a super time. Waterpark and amusement parks which brilliant…. My only negative would be that restaurant for lunch hour should be available. We will definitely come back

Happy well organised stay
We had a happy three day holiday and our 10 year old children really enjoyed themselves and made new friends. They loved the independence of being able to run around safely. The kitchen was well-equipped. A few downsides: the water in our bungalow was off on two evenings. The shower smelled of drains. Although there was enough living space, every room would have been more comfortable with just an extra 5cm in each direction In the Tikibad, signage could have been a bit clearer about the level of "excitement" on each ride.

Great setting. Lots of fun immediately available to kids.
No shortage of fun and entertainment on site. Option to hire bikes also useful. Easy to reach from The Hague and generally well connected via cycle paths and bus service. Wassenaar with its shops and restaurants, a walk away. Fabulous play parks and good selection of theme rides for older kids and thrill-loving adults. Not too much queuing (the only long queue was to hire a bike). Beautiful walks into the dunes. Budget duingalow served its purpose but was small and tired, which is fine when sun is shining. Beds surprisingly small and uncomfortable. Luckily, we stayed in a quiet part of park. Some camping areas looked cramped. Shame the park was a smoker's paradise and filled with a lot of moving traffic.

fun for all the family
My kids had a great time at Duinrell! I have boys aged 3 - 12 and there was something for everyone to do. The staff are very friendly, loads of fun rides, space to run, amazing water slides. Plenty of washing machines and facilities. the area in the village close by is gorgeous! Felt very secure with 24/7 security. My only negative would be to improve the cleanliness of the comfy lodge accomodation. Overall an amazing summer at Duinrell!

Nice experience with the kids
Everything was fine except for the checkin: we had to pick up towels and bed linen ourselves from the reception office as they were not in the bungalow as contracted. Also, we had to take pictures to get IDs that were not needed during our stay. Except for these minor things, the complex is great! Indoor pools and attractions were fantastic. Thanks!

Good, apart from the grubby money-grabbing
We were a 3-generation family staying in an 8-person Premium Plus Duingalow in August. We also paid for the 'comfort package', but for the cost it simply wasn't worth it: 3 dishwasher tablets and a tiny amount of washing up liquid. This meant we had to buy more locally, which completely defeated the point! Similarly the towels were very thin and only one per person for a whole week, so you had to either wash them out (back to the store for handwash liquid), or buy new ones. Its these grubby little money-stealing things that drop it from 5* to 4*. The photo IDs are another. NOT ONCE in the entire week did we see anyone get asked for their guest ID, yet hundreds of guests were needlessly spending money in the photo booths. The food places were even worse: €6.50 for a banana coated in chocolate! We ate on site the first night as we were late arriving - €71 (£61) for three children's nugget meals & two adult burger meals. The next day we went to the Jumbo supermarket in town and for €170 (£150) stocked up on fresh food & drink for the rest of the week. Cooking wasn't easy though, as the only oven was a combined microwave one and is far too small for 8 people. I wonder why? One of our party had a medical issue and needed to arrange a taxi to the doctors, but the people on reception point blank refused to help. These niggling things really spoilt an otherwise lovely holiday, and it often felt as if we'd paid BA prices for Ryanair service. The positives are that the park was clean, with lots of things to do for everyone, although the 2-hour pool limit made it hard to get on the slides due to the queues. Resident guests really should be allowed longer. The fair was good though, with no such problems. We also used the local bus to visit Scheveningen and Leiden, and both were easy to reach and well worth seeing. I think we'd probably go back, but with lower expectations.

Great time, lovely site, lots to do
Great clean family site. Good facilities including plaza. Both teens and adults loved the rides and water slides. Our only gripe was it felt there were too many people allowed to book for the indoor and outdoor pool- queues for the indoor and nowhere to sit for the outdoor. But overall had a good time and would recommend.

Great except our experience in the pool
We had a great holiday accommodation was great and the amusement park was brilliant for the kids. We had plenty to do . We used the pool twice. On our last day my son went down the slide and nearly drowned only for my other son andy husband they saved him. The lifeguard did nothing to help we weren't even asked afterwards was my son even ok. That happened on our last day we were all very shook over it and left the pool before our time was up. The pool was obviously are worst experience of our holiday. Apart from that every thing was brilliant. If we go back we won't be using the pool but everything else we will.

Duinrell is amazing! Accommodation needs to be cleaner!
We love Duinrell for the great atmosphere, rides, pool and town it is set in. Pros: We had a duingalow really near a park entrance and right near the plaza which works for us! We hired go karts for a day which kids and adults alike loved! The rides and arcades are fun! Wassenaar is a beautiful town. Cons: Our duingalow was quite dusty and we are pretty sure my husband and daughter came home with bed big bites. The park closes quite early. The wait in the plaza for food was unbelievable! Lots of the washers and dryers in different areas of the park were not working.

Excellent park
Plenty to keep the kids entertained , my only gripe would be that you can use the out door water park more - as kids wanted to use both but were limited to 4 times in the 8 days we were there, offered to pay but they said no, and the out doors was empty !! Really does not make sense. We stayed in our own motorhome and the showers are great but the services for the toilet were too far away. Otherwise excellent holiday great park been 7 times now.
