From what age is Duinrell appropriate?
Babies and Toddlers aged 0 to 3 years
An amusement park isn’t any fun if you’re still very small? Well, we have plenty of fun attractions, even for babies and toddlers.
Rick's Adventure Castle
There are always plenty of adventures to be had at Rick's Adventure Castle, especially for the littlest visitors. Rick’s big book reads itself and the wise owl teaches very important lessons. Try ringing Rick the Frog’s bell, because he might just open the door.
Wonderland
At Wonderland, you'll find the best fairy tales and mini attractions, such as a mini merry-go-round and dancing mushrooms. Wonderland is like a small amusement park of its own, and it’s always party time there.
Kwakus Kwebbel Show
Kwakus Kwebbel is extremely happy to live by the water, but Mollie the Mole thinks it stinks. Insects also live near the water, and one of them stung his head. Do you know who it was? This 20-minute show is guaranteed to be a lot of fun.
Playground
Once upon a time, it all started with a playground. That same playground is still a big success today, with classic favourites and modern new play equipment.
Kids Water Park Playa
The Tiki Pool is also for the whole family. Especially for little splashers, with or without a swimming certificate, there is Kids Water Park Playa. The heated play pool is perfect for the smallest visitors. The water is never deeper than 15 centimetres, and of course mum or dad can splash along too.
Pre-schoolers from age 4 to 6 years
Pre-schoolers won’t believe their eyes when they arrive at the Duinrell estate. The best part? They can enjoy many attractions too. These are a few of our favourites.
Locomotion
All aboard, the Locomotion is about to depart. This cheerful train ride is a lovely first attraction for young children. They can race through the Wild West without their parents, while an extra safety belt keeps them safely in their seat.
Bumper Boats
Ahoy, captain. Sail like a real captain in your own boat. There are only two choices on your route: collide with the other boats or quickly dodge them.
Kikkerachtbaan
Does your pre-schooler really want to go on a roller coaster, but are they still too small for the big rides? The Kikkerachtbaan is the perfect start to a dazzling roller coaster career. It is fast and exciting, but not too scary for most brave young riders. Children shorter than 120 centimetres can ride accompanied by a parent or guardian.
Playa
Attention, pre-schoolers: serious splashing awaits at Kids Water Park Playa. Playa is the water paradise for children shorter than 120 cm. Children without a swimming certificate may also play here without a flotation device, as the water is never deeper than 15 centimetres.
At Playa, you will find four slides especially for small children. The Hurri'Cone slide is the mini-version of the cool Triton, where children slide through a huge funnel without a tyre. Super cool.
Children aged 7 to 9 years
Hurray, you're finally big enough for the exciting attractions. Duinrell is one big adventure.
Ship Ahoi
On Ship Ahoi, you’ll sail across the wild sea at high speed. During this stormy ride, there is only one thing to do: put your hands in the air and enjoy the adventure.
Dragonfly
On this 361-metre roller coaster, which reaches a height of 15 metres, you fly between the trees of the Duinrell forest. Navigate exciting bends and enjoy a ride you won’t forget anytime soon.
Splash
You don't even have to ride Splash to get a huge kick. Watching from the Splash window already takes plenty of courage, and you are guaranteed to get wet from head to toe. But let’s be honest: going on the ride is even more fun.
Everlasting Candle
Is the word vertigo simply not part of your vocabulary? And do you have arm muscles of steel? Then the Everlasting Candle is just the thing for you. Pull yourself up, enjoy the view and stay up as long as you like.
Your first slides in Playa and the Tiki Pool
You’re in luck. At this age, you can enjoy Kids Water Park Playa and some of the bigger slides in the Tiki Pool. With over 1.3 kilometres of slides, there is plenty to discover in the largest water slide paradise in the Benelux.
Teens and older
Excitement, sensation, higher rides and even upside-down adventures. The older you are, the more thrilling the attractions become.
Mad Mill
In this spectacular mega-attraction, you spin around and swing back and forth at great height. This attraction is for true daredevils with a strong stomach.
Toboggan
Race down from the highest point of Duinrell at around 25 km/h in the Toboggan. Want to make it even more fun? Race against the sledge next to you. Three, two, one... go.
Falcon
Fancy the roller coaster ride of your life? Then you have to ride Falcon. Soar 22 metres into the air and dive back down again. Loops, corkscrews and sharp bends make this ride seriously thrilling.
Waterspin
An attraction you can enjoy with the whole family? That has to be Waterspin. The two large benches have room for 40 people in total. Sit back, hold on and get ready to go upside down again and again.
Wild Wings
Have you always wanted to be a pilot? In Wild Wings, you fly your own plane as both pilot and passenger. Go upside down or simply float along. You decide how wild the ride becomes.
Tiki Pool
Twist through the Cyclone, race down the Blits and float gently in the Lazy River. In the tropical Tiki Pool, the largest water slide paradise in the Benelux, you’ll find more than 1.3 kilometres of sliding fun. Some slides even reach speeds of over 60 km/h.
What about the (grand)parents?
Do you feel a little too old, or perhaps too young and sprightly, for all the wild rides? No worries. Duinrell also has plenty to enjoy for visitors who prefer things a little calmer.
Watchtower
Stand at one of the highest points in South Holland on our Watchtower. From here, you have a panoramic view over the estate. In very clear weather, you can even see the sea, The Hague and sometimes Rotterdam.
Wonderland
Enjoy a lovely walk with the little ones along the many fairy tales and legends. Wonderland is a small amusement park in itself, and the perfect place to tell the stories together.
Carousel
Have you seen our Carousel? It dates back to 1864. Back then, the Carousel was powered by horses, but luckily electricity does the work today. While the children enjoy the ride, you can relax with a cup of coffee, apple pie or delicious pancakes.
Discover all attractions
These are not all the attractions at Duinrell. There is much more to discover. Take a look at all our attractions and use the filters to find the rides that suit you best. Kids Water Park Playa and all water slides can be found at the Tiki Pool.
