Safety at Duinrell

At Duinrell, safety is our highest priority. Read below how we work to keep our guests safe.

Everything at Duinrell is designed to provide our guests with unforgettable experiences and lasting memories. Each year, we welcome more than 1.4 million visitors to our park, and the safety of every guest is our absolute top priority. Naturally, Duinrell complies with all applicable laws and regulations. All attractions are inspected annually by TÜV, an internationally recognised organisation for quality and safety inspections. In addition, ongoing safety checks are carried out throughout the year, and our team continuously monitors the safety of our guests. Our employees receive extensive training and clear instructions to ensure the highest safety standards are maintained at all times. Despite all precautions and safety measures, incidents can occasionally occur. We sincerely regret this, as any accident, no matter how minor, is one too many and does not align with the experience we strive to provide. All incidents are carefully recorded and immediately reported to the Dutch Food and Consumer Product Safety Authority (NVWA). Where necessary, additional measures are taken straight away to help prevent similar incidents from happening again.

Safety Rules

Throughout the park, safety information signs are displayed at every attraction and waterslide. The use of attractions and waterslides is at your own risk. Please always follow the instructions shown on the signs and any directions given by our staff. Height and weight requirements for attractions and waterslides can also be found on the relevant attraction pages on our website, helping you quickly identify which attractions are suitable and safe for you and your children. To ensure a safe and enjoyable visit for everyone, we have also established a number of park rules that all guests are required to follow.
