Duinrell is expanding water park Tiki Pool outdoors!

Following the construction of the triple cone slide Triton and the kids water park Playa in 2017, we are now expanding our water park Tiki Pool with an outdoor section in 2019. Duinrell also plans to renovate the holiday park.

Tiki Pool expansion

At Duinrell we are looking forward to a long, hot summer. In 2019, the Tiki Pool will be expanded outdoors. After the construction of the first outdoor pool 50 years ago, it is now time for a completely new outdoor area. Duinrell is creating a heated outdoor pool, which will have new slides - a family racer and a half-open slide - and a water playground with four children’s slides. With this expansion, which will be ready in July 2019, the Tiki Pool will offer even more family fun, both indoors and outdoors.

New accommodation in the holiday park

In addition to the expansion of the Tiki Pool, Duinrell is working hard on renovating and expanding the holiday park. Eight new 5-person lodge tents will come into use in May 2019, and eight new luxurious holiday homes (Duingalows) will be available from June 2019. These spacious and luxurious Premium Plus Duingalows have a first floor and are equipped with a sauna. Finally, holiday guests will be able to spend the night in the luxurious family home Oranjerie as of September. This extraordinary building used to be a tearoom, but in 2019 it will be turned into a new, luxurious group accommodation that houses 24 people.

La Place Restaurant renovated

The restaurant chain La Place has had a branch at Duinrell for more than ten years. The renovated restaurant in Duinrell Plaza will open in April 2019. The La Place self-service restaurant will have a new look and a renewed assortment. The restaurant will be more spacious. There will be a central market square with an open kitchen and various market stalls where the most delicious dishes and drinks are freshly prepared every day. A new pizza takeaway is also being built, and the Take Away in Duinrell Plaza will be renovated.
