Nostalgia in a fresh red look

The Kikker8baan is new, yet instantly familiar. The iconic double-eight layout has remained and the track has been mirrored. Rick the Frog leads the way on his motorbike as you glide smoothly through the bends, weaving between the trees. At the centre of the ride, family and friends can watch from a raised platform while you enjoy your (first) ride.

On April 3, Duinrell will officially open the brand-new Kikker8baan! A completely new family roller coaster inspired by the legendary Kikkerachtbaan.

Will you be one of the 100 test riders?

On 1 April between 13:00 and 15:00, selected fans will have the unique opportunity to be among the first to take a test ride on the new family roller coaster. Sign up via the registration form and get the chance to secure a place as a test rider.

Sign up before 18 March and who knows, you might be one of the 100 test riders.

Motocross history comes to life

The Kikkerachtbaan has a theme that perfectly matches the history of Duinrell. In the 1940s and 1950s, the estate was home to a motor racing circuit stretching an impressive four kilometres. Cross-country races were held here, and local Wassenaar riders such as Piet Knijnenburg, also known as De Leeuw van Wassenaar, rode some of their very first races on this track.

This sporting heritage subtly returns in the theme of the renewed Kikkerachtbaan. Rick leads the way on his motorbike, with references to this special motorsport history found throughout the attraction.

Am 3. April eröffnet Duinrell offiziell die brandneue Kikker8baan! Eine komplett neue Familienachterbahn, inspiriert von der legendären Kikkerachtbaan.
