The Kikkerachtbaan opened in 1985 and was Duinrell’s very first – and for many years only – roller coaster. Park founder H.R.J. van Zuylen van Nijevelt wanted a coaster that the whole family could enjoy. No loops, but still full of excitement. And that’s exactly what it became!

Did you know the track forms a figure-eight when seen from above? Or that it weaves between the trees? Years ago, water jets used to spray over the track – those now feature in the outdoor pool of the Tikibad (since 2019).
Want to experience the Kikkerachtbaan one final time? You can – but only until 2 November 2025. And yes, we’ll make that final ride a special one!
