This year, for the first time, La Place restaurant at Duinrell will serve a cracking Christmas breakfast, lunch and dinner, especially for you.Alle meals are home prepared, using only fresh ingredients (preferably organic) and authentic recipes.

All the buffets can be reserved seperately. If you really want to enjoy the culinary treats reserve one the attractive package deals.

Christmas breakfast

On Christmas Day and on Boxing Day, a buffet breakfast will be served in the Schaapskooi from 9:00 to 11:00 hours.

 

The Christmas buffet breakfast includes:

• Assorted freshly baked Le Marché rolls, including corn bread and whole wheat rolls, raisin rolls, pain de campagne and soft-curd cheese rolls.
• Out-of-this-world croissants (naturel, cheese and chocolate), mini pain au chocolat en pain au raisin;
• Freshly baked kerststol (bread with raisins and much more);
• Homemade muffins and brownies;
• Along with a wide assortment of sliced meat, farmer’s cheese and sweet sandwich filling;
• Our chefs will be standing by to prepare a delicious omelette or uitsmijter (fried bacon and eggs served on slices of bread) the way you like it;
• Breakfast would not be the same without our assortment of freshly-squeezed juices;
• Desert buffet with sliced fruit, organic yoghurt and soft-curd cheese;
• Coffee, (organic) tea, cappuccino, espresso and café au lait.

Christmas lunch

At the same venue during the Christmas holidays, a Christmas buffet lunch will be served between 13:00 and 15:00 hours, including:

• Original wild mushroom and oxtail soups;
• Cold meat dish with Serrano ham, Coppa di Parma (ham), Spanish salami, Italian Mortadella, grilled turkey and our well-known La Place restaurant ham on the bone;
• Party salads, including homemade crab, chicken curry, Waldorf, tuna, salmon and potato salads – all freshly prepared according to La Place restaurant recipes.
• Warm ham on the bone “in a clamp” (Jambon a l’Os sur griffe) with honey and almonds, served with mustard sauce;
• Tasty tarts (Lorraine and wild mushrooms);
• Vol au vent, a small pastry filled with ragout of chicken filet and mushrooms;
• Fresh from the oven Le Marché bread with homemade tapenade and salted butter;
• Homemade vanilla and forest fruit ice cream, tiramisu and chocolate bavarois with nuts.

Christmas buffet dinner

Especially for you, a Christmas buffet dinner will be served from 18:00 to 21:30 hours in the Schaapskooi. There is a special buffet with plenty of goodies for the children.

The Christmas buffet dinner includes:

 

• Original mushroom and oxtail soups;
• Cold meat dishes with Serrano ham, Coppa di Parma (ham), Spanish salami, Italian Mortadella, grilled turkey and our well-known La Place restaurant ham on the bone;
• Cold fish dish with smoked salmon, gravad lax, smoked filet of trout, lobster tails and delicious chunks of salmon;
• Stellendam cod in white wine sauce with small shrimp and a potato tart;
• Filet of salmon en croûte with dill sauce and small potatoes;
• Tenderloin pork strips with Stroganoff sauce and rice;
• Turkey schnitzels a la Swiss, with rice;
• Delicious vegetable tarts prepared with vegetables in season;
• Fresh from the oven Le Marché bread with homemade tapenade and salted butter;
• Desert buffet, including chipolata bavarois, fresh fruit salad, chocolate tart and warm apple strudel with homemade vanilla sauce;

There is a special buffet with plenty of goodies for the children.

New Year’s Eve dinner buffet

To end the year with a bang, La Place restaurant will serve a buffet dinner in the Schaapskooi from 18:00 to 21:30 hours. There is a special buffet with plenty of goodies for the children.

The New Year's Eve dinner buffet will comprise the following:

 

• Cold meat dishes with Serrano ham, Coppa di Parma (ham), Spanish salami, Italian Mortadella, grilled turkey and our well-known La Place restaurant ham on the bone;
• Party salads, including homemade crab, chicken curry, Waldorf, tuna, salmon and potato salads – all freshly prepared according to La Place restaurant recipes;
• Original cream of wild mushroom soup;
• Filet of salmon en croûte with dill sauce and small potatoes;
• Tenderloin pork strips with Stroganoff sauce and rice;
• Warm ham on the bone “in a clamp”( Jambon a l’Os sur griffe) with honey and almonds, served with mustard sauce;
• Vol au vent, a small pastry filled with ragout of chicken filet and mushrooms;
• Fresh from the oven Le Marché bread with homemade tapenade and salted butter;
• Homemade vanilla and forest fruit ice cream, tiramisu and chocolate bavarois with nuts;

Guests will be treated to a welcoming drink in the Irish Pub and, at midnight, oliebollen (doughnut balls) and champagne will be served to give a festive welcome to the New Year!
